Likewise, expected market time, which is the time elapsed between a signed listing contract to the opening of escrow, is at around 48 days in Los Angeles County and 46 in Orange County on average overall. These are true indicators that, while the global pandemic has created some uncertainty for prospective home sellers in particular, COVID’s effect on the real estate market is weakening. 2020 remains an exceptional year to buy or sell.
